A COUPLE OF EXAMPLES FROM KAREN......
DAUGHTER'S DELIGHT
Megan---
chatter, chatter
overdrive teen talk box
animated words and laughs ring
with joy
THAT CRAZY PHONE !
a call
at 2 AM
asking about poodles
it's an April Fool's joke much too
early
© Karen O'Leary
and a couple more from ZHANNA....
HIS BLACK-PEARLY SMILE
Snowman's
sparkling coal eyes
and mouth..My little girl
suggests that he should also brush
his teeth
POET'S BLOCK
Cinquain
about the rain,
I struggled to create;
I strained my brain, but all in vain —
too late.

A FEW EXAMPLES FROM BRIAN........
T M S (Test Match Special -Cricket)
Again
The rain stopped play;
Depression in the box----
Everything already said
Before !
FRUSTRATION
Golf is
A 'umbling game,
It's all in the mind,just
One swing away from a problem--
Hiding !
TOUR DE FRANCE
Rivals
Eye each other,
Manoeuvre to and fro,
With tactics to lance the yellow
Jersey.
WRITER'S BLOCK
Cinquain,
So lightly trips,
Scan,meter,riming riche,
Every stanza versed even stich
Pen quick!
